Consultation of the 2024-25 Admission Policy
The Kemnal Academies Trust (the “Admission Authority”) is the admission authority for East Wickham Primary Academy (the “Academy”). The Admission Authority is consulting on the Academy’s proposed Admission Arrangements for 2024-2025 in accordance with paragraph 1.45 of the School Admissions Code (September 2021).

2022 Entry to Primary School in September

2 May 2023 | Deadline for accepting or declining the offer of a place made on 17 April 2023 |
Appeals Timetable: | |
15 May 2022: | Deadline for lodging Appeals against a decision not to offer a place at East Wickham Primary Academy. |
June – July 2022:
| Appeals will be heard up to 40 school days after the deadline. Appellants will receive at least 10 days notice of their appeal hearing. Decision letters will be sent within 5 school days of the hearing wherever possible. |
Late applicants | Appeals will be heard within 40 school days of the deadline for lodging appeals – where possible, or within 30 school days of the appeal being lodged. |
In-Year Appeals | Will be heard within 30 school days of the appeal being lodged. |
In-year Admissions
Applications for year groups other than the normal point of entry should also be made directly to Bexley Council via this link: In-year admissions
Please complete the application via the Bexley website. Completed forms should be returned directly to Bexley Council this can be done via schooladmissions@bexley.gov.uk
Application outcomes will be confirmed in writing, no later than 15 days from receipt of application.
If the number of applications for the school, for any year group, is more than the number of places available, the oversubscription criteria (as per our Admissions Policy) will be applied. The same oversubscription criteria will apply before a place is offered from the waiting list.
In the event that your application is unsuccessful and you would like to pursue an appeal, parents should make their appeal in writing, within 15 working days, to the Clerk of the Governing Body East Wickham Primary Academy.
