Our School Vision and Values

 

Our vision reflects our aspirations for every member of our school family. Our school is a place where children are supported to achieve their very best. Every member of our community nurtures and cares for every child and their wider family.

 

Irrespective of when a child joins the EWPA family, our vision remains the same: An EWPA child is resilient, excited by learning and not afraid to take risks and make mistakes. They understand that feedback helps them to grow as learners and actively seek it for themselves. Our children understand that they are responsible for their own learning but also understand the role they play in helping others to learn alongside them. They learn who they are as learners as well as who they are as members of the community and wider world. They understand the importance of good physical and mental health in order to become actively self aware and successful on their life's journey

Our school values have been adopted from the SCARF framework as our core school values and PSHE/RSE curriculum. 

SCARF provides the framework for a whole-school approach to improving children’s wellbeing and progress, based on five core values:
