Throughout each academic year we have many special events, such as off-timetable (themed) weeks, special celebration days, sports tournaments, musical events and lots of other activities designed to enrich our children's education beyond the statutory curriculum.

• Harvest Celebration - we collect donations of food and donate these to our local foodbank Classes also do readings, sing songs and celebrate the history of Harvest time around the world. 

• Charity days - each year, the school decides on a range of fundraising activities for the chosen charities. 

• Christmas jumper day - the whole school wear their Christmas jumpers to raise money for Save the Children

• Children's Mental Health Week - throughout the week, children take part in a number of activities and assemblies focused on how to keep themselves safe and well.

• Safer Internet Day - Our computing leader runs a range of workshops related to staying safe online.

• NSPCC Speak Out. Stay Safe. - Our safeguarding team run assemblies led by the NSPCC about what children can do to keep themselves safe and happy. 

• Science Week  - a week full of exciting technology and science challenges. In KS2 children are able to take part in a Science fair, presenting their work to the school and parents.

• European Day of Languages - a day where our children dress up in their home country or in our MFL - Spanish colours. Children experience a number of different languages.
