How do I sign up to Tapestry?

We will automatically make a Tapestry account for you in the first few weeks of the academic year, based on the email address you provide in your child’s administration pack. You will then receive an email to activate your account. Please activate your account promptly as these emails have an expiry date.

How do I log on to Tapestry?

Tapestry has an app that can be downloaded to personal devices or you can visit the website www.tapestryjournal.com. The website link is also provided on the Nursery page of our school website.

Is the account public? Can other parents view my child’s account?

No. Each child has their own individual account which is only visible to the account holder and the Nursery staff. Parents/Carers create their own passwords to secure the account. 

How often will photos/observations be uploaded?

We use Tapestry to record the progress and achievements of our children - it is not a daily diary. Once the Nursery children are fully settled we aim to upload once a week for each child. Please remember that Tapestry is just one method that is used to observe our children, and the staff are constantly observing and recording in different ways. Please do speak to the class teacher if you have any questions/worries about your child’s development.

How do I use Tapestry? Can I upload observations from home?

Once you have logged in, you will see the stream of your child’s observations. Please do engage with us on this platform to celebrate your child. We welcome you to upload observations from home by pressing ‘+ New Observation‘.
