Rainbow Display

Dear Parents/ Carers,

One of our children, Freya in 4B, has come up with a lovely idea.

In order to create a giant rainbow display in our Halls when we return to school  - please could all children in each year group make two handprints and a ‘cloud’ message.  Each child will print or create two colours of the rainbow on paper. (One colour per hand). They can also write a little message of thank you to key workers/NHS etc within a cloud shape drawn onto white paper. These will be collected when we return to school. The hand prints will represent clapping for key workers and the rainbow is for the NHS. If you haven’t got paints at home, maybe cut out colours from magazines or boxes and stick them onto your hand shapes. Freya thinks this will remind everyone of how kind people were during this hard time, and we agree with her!

Please could:

Year Two and Year 3-  create Red and Yellow handprints

Year One and Year 4-   create Pink and Green handprints

Reception and Year 5- create Purple and Orange handprints

Nursery and Year 6 –  create Blue handprints

We look forward to creating this display soon!

Thank you

Mrs Manzi
