Autumn Term 1
5ET are incredibly proud of the poem they wrote to perform at our recent Harvest Festival celebration. We are very proud of their poetry and the excellent performance they gave. Well done 5ET
Year 5 have settled in really well to the new academic year and are working hard.
We had a wonderful mental health awareness day, where we enjoyed exploring the forest school. We also read the information texts that the children had written, this was the culmination of three week's work, with a year 1 child.
In the last week of the term, great fun was had when the children created Viking long ships. Not only did they use their historical knowledge gained thus far, but they worked cooperatively to produce a craft we will be sailing next half term!
On the 16th November, we look forward to taking the children to the British Museum to further enhance their knowledge about the Vikings and Anglo Saxons.
